Misty's Testimony~ It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up - Babe Ruth

Two years ago, a neighbor of mine invited me to a group fitness class – my first. I was unsure of myself, self-conscious, and morbidly obese. But that night, thankfully, I gathered up my courage, swallowed my pride, and dusted off some suitable workout clothes. When I arrived, I was greeted by the class and of course Brianna.

Unbeknownst to me, from that day forward, this amazing woman would turn out to be my future coach, best friend, and motivational support system through my lifestyle journey towards better physical and mental health, and personal happiness.

Ever since I left class that first night, sweaty and exhausted, I have felt motivated. I decided to keep going to class, and within a few weeks I knew I was ready to change - so I began one-on-one sessions as well. Each day, my eagerness to better myself grew, and I knew this time it wasn’t going to be a “fad crash diet” that had failed me so many times in the past. She holds me accountable day in and day out, and picks me back up after a crummy day. She pushes me to my limits. She is so knowledgeable about everything fitness and health related, whether it’s new exercises or nutritional tips and hacks – she is the person I turn to.

Flash forward to today; I have come a long way! I have dropped 10 dress sizes; I have managed my Type 2 Diabetes to officially “diet controlled”. These are huge milestones for me. I am happier, I am proud, my marriage has improved, my children notice my increased energy level and overall willingness to just get out and do things! Brianna has instilled in me the importance of balanceand patience. It takes time to create a habit and make it part of your new everyday life, then all of a sudden – it becomes second nature, and you want to start to help others along the way as well!

To be truthful, I had a very hard time finding a “before picture”. The reason being; I never wanted my picture taken. But the new me - I couldn’t decide which picture I wanted to use; because I have SO many that I am SO proud of! My advice to you if you are reading this; is start right now. Don’t waste another day – and never give up.

Forever Grateful,

Misty
